THE CHALLENGE

MBC Group is the largest private satellite broadcasting company in the Middle East & North Africa regions, including 18 TV channels and 2 Radio stations.

The challenge was to create an interactive skill-based web game, where users would subscribe to participate to a daily questions quiz for a chance to win Instant Cash, activate subscribers from 18 Telecommunication Companies across the MENA region via TV, Social Media and SMS advertising.

GU Group was selected as the strategy and technology partner to design, ​​develop​ ​and​ ​manage​ ​​the ​flashWIN Web App game, along with the optimization of user experience.

THE STRATEGY

Our strategy was the creation of an interactive Web App that was centered around a unique, engaging and rewarding user game experience with instant cash prizes, in order to increase the participation to the Subscription Service and boost engagement.

Unique Loyalty Experience

1- Dynamic Gameplay

Subscribers have 100 seconds to answer 10 questions correctly and win the Instant Cash Prize.
The questions have a counter, and a sonar timer alarm to alert the users for the expiry of the 10 seconds.

2- Prizes & Points Basket

Subscribers win instant cash prizes when answering 10/10 questions correctly. Subscribers also collect points for each correct answer, based on a dynamic points feed, with which they participate in the Monthly Contests. The contest prizes can vary from mobile devices to other tech gadgets.

3- User Profile

The reporting tool offers filters in order to have a clear image across all countries.
